The Growth Project. Part 2

So here we are my second week writing about my front lawn. I can really tell that this is the post all of your readers have been looking forward to for the entire week...so have I. Unfortunately, in regards to the grass, there doesn't seem to be any new growth or any activity at all. It is the ultimate exercise in patience. I was going to go outside and take some detailed photos of the lawn but I don't think photos of dirt would be of any interest to you guys. I could be wrong though it could be the beginnings of a new genre of fine art photography.  I can tell you that we did water the grass every day since Sunday with the exception of Wednesday. We had a massive amount of rain yesterday, Sunday, which I'm hoping didn't water down the grass too much and flood our project right at the beginning. We've also had some seasonably cool temperatures over the past week which I'm guessing has contributed to our slow growth. According to my dad, we might have to wait another week before we see any kind of progress. Fingers crossed.

In the back of my mind, I know this is definitely one of those things that is going to require a lot of patience even though I'm expecting some sort of immediate result. We've forgotten how to wait for things or that good things come to those who wait. Just because you're not seeing any success today doesn't mean that it's never going to happen. What you're waiting for could be right around the corner.  Who would have thought that a blog about grass would have become so meta so quick? So that's it for this weeks episode of the grass class, stay tuned for more content on the blog in the coming days.
